Budget Decorating Hacks

Looking for easy ways to change up your home decor without spending an arm and a leg? Here are a few hacks to help you accomplish just that!

1.) Rearrange Furniture-

Rearranging furniture is a temporary way to completely change the look of your room without paying a ton of money to do it. 

Find the most practical way to arrange your furniture and play around with how you want it to look. This is such an easy and affordable way to "redecorate."

2.) Get Creative with Paint

If you love the look of wallpaper but hate the price tag that comes with it, you can DIY it with stencils! All you have to do is find a stencil that you like & a color that fits the color scheme of your room & paint away! You will end up with the same look as if you bought and applied actual wallpaper to your walls!

Painting doors is another way to decorate and change up the look of a space for cheap. All you need is a color that fits your room's color pallete and a paintbrush!

I've talked about it before and I'll talk about it again, but painting cabinets is a cheap way to change up your kitchen or bathroom! You can do multiple colors or just one, but this simple task can make a room look so much nicer!

The last painting idea I have is to do an accent wall. You can do this with just a plain color or you can do the wallpaper/stencil idea. Either way, a colorful accent wall decorates a room just as much as buying new furniture would. 

3.) Thrift & Repurpose

Lastly, thrifting for inexpensive home decor is such a smart idea to save money. Thrift stores have such cool pieces that someone may have just gotten tired of one day and decided to donate. You can find so many different things that can be used to repurposed in your home!
